Gender Equality & Inclusion Policy

Our Commitment

VentureNest UG is committed to gender equality, diversity, and inclusion in all areas of its work.
We believe that equal participation of women, men, and non-binary people — regardless of background, nationality, or ability — strengthens innovation, creativity, and fairness within our company and among the entrepreneurs we support.

This policy applies to all staff, contractors, mentors, and project partners.

1. Governance and Resources

  • The CEO serves as the Equality Officer and ensures this plan is implemented and reviewed annually.

  • A small yearly budget is reserved for inclusion training and awareness activities.

  • The policy is publicly available on our website and signed by top management.

2. Work Environment and Culture

  • VentureNest promotes work–life balance through flexible hours and remote work options.

  • We maintain a respectful, inclusive culture where discrimination, harassment, or bias of any kind is not tolerated.

  • A confidential reporting channel is available for any concerns.

3. Equality in Recruitment and Career Development

  • Hiring, pay, and promotion decisions are made solely on merit and ability.

  • We aim for gender balance in leadership and project roles, especially within digital and technical teams.

  • All job descriptions use gender-neutral language.

4. Training and Awareness

  • All team members and mentors complete annual awareness training on gender equality and unconscious bias.

  • Our entrepreneurship programs integrate inclusive examples and encourage equal participation from women and underrepresented groups.

5. Monitoring and Evaluation

  • We collect and review gender-disaggregated data on staff, contractors, and program participants.

  • Results are reviewed annually and used to improve equality measures and outreach to women founders and people with disabilities.

6. Prevention of Harassment and Violence

  • VentureNest applies a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of harassment or gender-based violence.

  • Reports are handled confidentially and immediately.
